International Relations Program | 2026 Edition: China

The International Relations Program is an academic initiative of the School of Government and the CIG aimed at understanding the main centers of global power and their impact on the international economic, technological and geopolitical agenda.

The 2026 edition will be held in China and will combine three online preparatory academic sessions during August and September with an international immersion trip from October 8 to 17, 2026, with activities in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou.

During the program, participants will take part in meetings with public bodies, seminars at universities, meetings with think tanks, visits to innovation ecosystems and technology companies, as well as cultural activities.

The program is aimed at graduate students and alumni of the Universidad AustralPublic officials at the managerial level and professionals from the private sector.

Dialogue Series | OECD Agenda and Argentina's Accession Process

The "OECD Dialogue Cycle" is an initiative promoted by the Observatory of Argentina's Accession Process to the OECD of the CIG.

This forum brings together experts from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to analyze the organization's main agenda items within the framework of Argentina's accession process. Through regular meetings, the series addresses key areas of institutional reform and public policy, including public governance, integrity, regulation, education, health, digital government, international cooperation, and territorial development.

The cycle seeks to promote an informed dialogue on OECD standards, recommendations and good practices, as well as contribute to strengthening institutional capacities and the debate on the reforms needed to support Argentina's integration into the organization.

Executive Program | International Financial Institutions

The Executive Program "International Financial Institutions" is an initiative developed by the EDG and the CIG aimed at analyzing the role of international financial institutions in global economic governance and in development financing.

The program offers an applied look at the workings of organizations such as the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and other multilateral institutions, as well as the opportunities they offer for countries, provinces, cities and private sector organizations.

Throughout the program, participants analyze the main instruments of financing, technical cooperation and project implementation, and explore strategies for more effective interaction with these institutions in the design and implementation of public policies and development projects.

Core Course | Internationalization as an Engine for Subnational Development

The Core Course: «Internationalization as an Engine of Subnational Development» It is an executive program of 20 total hours, which will take place over 3 consecutive days, from May 13 to 15, 2024, in person at the headquarters located at Cerrito 1250 of our University.

The classes will be taught by top-level experts in the development of projection and integration strategies for public and private institutions. guest teachers They come from a wide range of national, provincial and local governments, as well as embassies, international organizations, and other public and private institutions.

Objective

Provide key tools for decision-makers in different sectors to leverage the international system and boost development. The various modules will systematize strategies so that local governments can integrate into the global economy in a way that supports growth. These include how to promote a series of essential attributes such as a good quality of life, talent in the workplace, innovation and creativity, economic development, connectivity, climate leadership, and a branding and identity that allows them to differentiate themselves in their international positioning.

The Executive Program: «OECD Accession Process: Implications for Subnational Governments» It is being developed by the EDG, the CIG, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine Republic.
