How do we make it?
The strategic plan is the result of a process of shared reflection between authorities, professors, researchers, graduates, students and management teams.
Through working sessions and listening spaces, the university community identified priorities, opportunities and challenges for the coming years.
Based on that, the strategic priorities and projects that shape the plan were defined.

The Strategic Plan promotes the comprehensive development of faculty and staff, and fosters the recruitment and training of academic profiles aligned with the scientific and social challenges of the coming years. At the same time, it encourages unity and interdisciplinarity among the various academic units, with the aim of building a cohesive community focused on excellence and service.
Health and applied technology
La Universidad Austral It seeks to consolidate itself as the core of an ecosystem that integrates research, assistance, technological development, and scientific entrepreneurship, projecting itself as a regional leader in advanced biomedical innovation. Based on the convergence of science and technology, with a strong humanistic focus, the institution articulates academic, clinical, and technology transfer capabilities to generate high-impact solutions for the benefit of individuals and society.
Social impact
The Austral 2030 Strategy promotes a renewal of academic offerings, with more flexible, interdisciplinary, and up-to-date programs, both in-person and online, responsive to the needs of the current context. It incorporates new technologies—including artificial intelligence—to enrich the learning experience. In parallel, it promotes research with social impact, focused on priority areas for Argentina and Latin America, aimed at providing evidence and solutions to structural problems.
