Our Vision

"Anchored in the reality of who we are and why we exist, we decided to imprint this on all the projects we carry out from Headquarters. Rosario un disruptive, global, sustainable approach, committed to people and committed to the community.

This vision is nourished by the values that have always characterized us and constitutes a guiding tool for the future of the Headquarters Rosario and the challenges that will be faced at the University level in the coming years.

The added value of the University will have to be rethought. I see a future where disciplinary barriers will disappear and the external boundaries of the University will also become more blurred... and where the journey through university will have to be a transformative experience in the way we approach, confront, and think about society's challenges.".

Academic proposals

La Headquarters Rosario It was born linked to business careers and closely linked to the local business community, responding from an academic perspective to the needs of professional profiles that the market had, always with the ethical imprint and added value that the integral formation that characterizes the study proposal offered by the Universidad Austral.

Within this framework, the following have been developed in Rosario undergraduate degrees such as Degree in administration, Bachelor of Digital Business, Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness, Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics and the career of Certified Public Accountant. In postgraduate studies, numerous training proposals have been put forward. Today, in the field of master's degrees, there is a Master's Degree in Agribusiness, Master of Finance, Master's Degree in Applied Economics y Master's Degree in Development of People-Centered Organizations.

Likewise, in recent years there has been growth in academic engineering proposals. Currently, we have two Master's degrees, one in Data science and another in Operations Management, plus some short diplomas in this discipline. Along these same lines, there is an undergraduate program that is experiencing significant development: University Degree in Programming and soon one Bachelor in Data Science.

Starting in 2024, the first undergraduate degree course related to communication will also begin to be taught: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing with a Focus on Communication and Design.

Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship

Years ago, an Agribusiness and Food Center (CEAg) and an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory (LINE) were established at this Regional University Campus.

CEAg

The CEAg responds to the geographic location that is key to the overall development of agriculture as a driver of growth for the country.

La Master's Degree in Agribusiness which is supported and accompanied by this Center is ranked as N° 2 in the world by Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking In the area Agribusiness/Food Industry Management, an achievement she has maintained uninterruptedly since 2019. (More information: www.best-masters.comThis position places Argentina as a leader in training people to boost agriculture and the entire value chain of this sector, from Rosario, for the Region and the world.

The Center has an applied research area and an extension and transfer sector.

Reservation

The LINE was born from the strong entrepreneurial spirit that has always been present in the business programs at this campus. Through this platform, the University participates in the region's agtech ecosystem and promotes online support for entrepreneurs. The LINE has its own incubator, which began by developing student projects and is now opening up to external projects. The LINE operates in an academic and research area, as well as an outreach and extension sector. Among the most notable initiatives is the connection with the scientific and technological system for the creation of bioscience startups in the Agrifoodtech vertical. The LINE provides business training so that those involved in scientific research can discover business opportunities with social impact.

Accompanied by the vision defined by Headquarters Rosario by 2028, and founded on the founding mission of the Universidad Austral, which gives meaning and value to the work, the growth that Austral proposes from Rosario It is closely linked to growth in connection with the environment.
