Last Wednesday, July 8, the Center for Studies in Sustainability and Social Innovation (CESIS) of the Faculty of Business Sciences had the honor of being the host institution for the presentation of the updated results of the National Climate Action Observatory (ONAC).
Argentina has made more than 600 climate commitments by 2030. However, current data from the Observatory raises a necessary alarm: 88,7% of the 115 monitored commitments are off track (102 targets), and only 11,3% (13 targets) are on a real path to being met.

During the meeting, the Dr. Verónica Torres Cerino presented the sustainability strategy of the Universidad Austral and the Austral University Hospital, demonstrating how academia and health come together with concrete actions against climate change.
The ONAC is coordinated by Sustainability Without Borders and has the support of 27 multi-sectoral partner organizations that contribute knowledge, research and analysis to build a more sustainable future.
