About LINE
The purpose of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory of the Universidad Austral en Rosario – LINE- is the one from promote innovation in all areas of the University, in order to contribute to the training of leaders who can create value in society through the launch of new businesses with economic, social and/or environmental impact.
As a training center, we decided to take an active role in the exponential changes that we are going through as humanity and We are committed to preparing talent to transform reality. and not merely its users. It is necessary to create spaces for innovation and an entrepreneurial mindset to take place, and to be active leaders in this transformative opportunity.

Incubation
It is a space that LINE provides for transform students' best business projects into real ventures. The winner of the Austral Entrepreneur Award has the opportunity to incubate their project the following year. specialized advice from actors in the Southern Community, as well as public and private actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. At the same time, entrepreneurs are given a financial incentive to bring their startup to life.
Through the Incubation Program We seek to promote the development and growth of student-led business initiatives that aspire to establish themselves as companies with the potential to generate a significant economic, social, and/or environmental impact.
We designed the Incubation program with the objective of validating the business hypotheses of entrepreneurial projects and accompany the development of a minimum viable productWe primarily focus on projects within the Agrifoodtech vertical.

Ag Tech Innovation Ecosystem
Phase I: Identification of actions, elements, and actors that made the development of the Agtech ecosystem possible in St. Louis, Missouri (geographic location, ag coast, extensive agriculture) and brief analysis of the actors in the AgTech ecosystem of Rosario and your region.
Phase II: Descriptive analysis of the emerging AgTech ecosystem of Rosario and its region, in terms of the relevant actors, their interaction and the roles played by each of them, within the framework of the methodologies for analyzing the literature on entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Phase III: Replicate these types of studies in other regions in Latin America, seeking to articulate AgTech ecosystems to capture the region's potential as a food producer.
- Auto diagnosis: We offer a self-assessment to identify public competencies to enhance the development of an AgriFoodTech ecosystem.

“Agromakers”, It is an educational program organized by the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Universidad Austral in conjunction with the Stock Exchange Foundation of Rosario, which has the support of the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Province of Santa Fe. Founded in 2019, its main purpose is to Promote the development of innovative and sustainable projects, aimed at providing possible solutions for the diverse specific needs of the province, both at the local and regional levels..
To date, a total of 21 educational communities have participated in the program, with an average of 1746 students in grades 4, 5, and 6, and 45 principals and teachers from technical and agricultural schools in northern and southern Santa Fe.
Within this framework, this paper aims to account for the impact (direct and indirect) on the principals, teachers, and students of the participating communities (2019-2021). Based on the presentation of the projects developed by the students during the provincial conference and in-depth interviews with principals and teachers, it can be stated that this program produced changes aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills, as well as the development of projects with potential positive repercussions and impacts on the local agroindustry.
General objective: Analyze the direct and indirect results and impacts of the Agromakers educational program implemented by the Faculty of Business Sciences Rosario of the Universidad Austral and the Stock Exchange Foundation of Rosario in the participating schools of the Province of Santa Fe (2019 – 2022).
Specific objectives:
- Identify throughout the research the main motivations of the actors involved when participating in the program.
- assess the development of entrepreneurial competence in students
- Analyze the role of professionals and specialists called upon for their scientific, technological, or business knowledge
- To highlight the projects continued by students and their impact on local development
To achieve this, the specific methodology that will be used will be inter-method triangulation in which the quantitative and qualitative methods will be sequenced.

Linkage and Extension
We are committed to building and strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem, primarily in the Agrifoodtech area.
It is a program coordinated between the Universidad Austral and the Stock Exchange Foundation Rosario, with the support of the Secretariat of Production, Science and Technology of the Province of Santa Fe.
Aimed at high school students, teachers, administrators, and the educational community in general, it seeks to:
- Stimulate entrepreneurial thinking and soft skills.
- Acquire agile methodologies to generate projects.
- Foster a learning community.
- Promote the development of entrepreneurial projects with a positive socio-environmental impact (SDG)
- Integrate the learning process with existing technologies

AgroMakers is a program coordinated by the BCR Foundation and our University's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory (LINE), with support from the Secretariat of Production, Science, and Technology. It is an intensive co-creation initiative aimed at young people in their final years of technical and agricultural secondary schools. This program, working in teams and with the community, develops innovative proposals to address a series of glocal (global and local) challenges.
As part of the AgroMakers Outreach Program, students from our school are tasked with mentoring young people on their journey to create innovative proposals, which culminates with the final hackathon held at the BCR headquarters.
Some of the objectives sought to be achieved with this proposal are:
- Engaging students through territorial work
- Develop social sensitivity in students
- Gain practical mentoring experience in the area of entrepreneurship.
- Build connections with the local productive sector, thus exploring opportunities for future entrepreneurship.
