From dream to project. 

From project —getting closer and closer— to reality. 

From Faculty of Communication We are promoting the construction of a new technological and creative hub for our careers in Communication, Designer and Marketing with a focus on Communication and Design and with new classrooms for all the courses taught at the Universidad Austral.

This is a new building, measuring 4.431 m², on our Pilar Campus. It combines audiovisual studios, a meeting room, and a... streamingExperimentation laboratories in different languages, arts and technologies, with flexible and creative iteration classrooms and exhibition areas for the work of our undergraduate students. 

In the words of the dean Marcela Pizarro: “We are happy to share this great first step of a project that we have been dreaming about for a long time with the entire FC community and today it is becoming a reality.”

The history

A dream that began when…

2014. We moved from the Garay headquarters and opened our doors at the Pilar Campus.

2025. 

It began to become a reality among the directors and professors of the FC, with the help of the Rectorate.

An ideas competition was launched —from the University's Operations and Experience area— for several architecture studios.

An Advisory Committee was created, comprised of FC professors and from other faculties. A jury from the University, along with external professionals, selected a building proposal.

2026.

The study idea won. Egozcue Vidal + Pastorino Pozzolo. And now we are making the adjustments to move forward with the final project.
