More than 1.800 students attended the 10th annual Job Fair, held at the Olivo Building on the Pilar Campus. More than 50 companies and organizations from the public and private sectors participated.

It was a meeting place where companies, organizations, students, and young professionals gathered to learn about job searches and explore various opportunities to enter the workforce.

During the day, students enjoyed a series of workshops designed to provide them with tools for their professional future. Some of the topics covered included guidelines for creating a CV, tips for job interviews, and the use of LinkedIn today, among others. Additionally, the booths served as a meeting space where students interacted with various recruiters, asked questions, and learned about the characteristics of today's job offers.

María Manson, Director of the University's Graduate and Professional Development Department, stated: "As the #1 Private University in Employer Reputation according to the QS rankings, we are proud that 55 organizations joined us at the Fair. Year after year, we take on the challenge of adding new organizations to the Fair and proposing an agenda of activities so that Austral students and graduates have a variety of offerings, activities, and events that will help them find jobs, stay up-to-date, and generate opportunities."

She also added: “We are delighted that graduates and alumni from various programs at the University participated in the Fair on behalf of the companies where they work. They were very approachable and spoke with students about their professional development, gave presentations, and even expressed their interest in mentoring their future colleagues. This is another of our objectives, aligned with the University's Strategic Plan: to connect with graduates, maintain contact with them, and make them feel that returning to Austral University is like coming home.
