In the latest QS University Rankings Latin America & The Caribbean 2026, the Universidad Austral It ranks 25th in the region and 3rd in Argentina, consolidating its position as the country's leading privately managed university for the sixth consecutive year.

“To reaffirm our leadership among Argentine private universities for the sixth consecutive year and to reach 25th place in Latin America reflects sustained performance. This achievement is the result of a long-term project and the daily commitment of faculty, students, researchers, graduates, and institutional partners,” reflected the Rector of the Universidad Austral, Mag. Julián Rodríguez.

Prepared by the international higher education consultancy QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the The QS 2026 ranking evaluated 492 institutions from 26 countries, including 45 universities in our countryOf these, 12 moved up positions, 20 moved down, and 13 remained stable.

Among the indicators considered are Academic Reputation, Citations per Article, Employer Reputation, Teacher-Student Ratio, International Research Network, Paper Production per Professor, Staff with PhDs, and Web Presence.
