Three teams of students from the Universidad Austral They were recognized with the ILAN – Israel Innovation Network University Innovation Awards, an initiative that promotes the link between young university students and the entrepreneurial ecosystem with a focus on social impact.

The award-winning projects were developed by Gonzalo Vicente, a second-year student of the Bachelor's Degree in Digital Business at the campus Rosario; Sol Panighini, Priscila Bettiga, Valentina Citara, Martina Agostino and Catalina Walker, second-year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Marketing with a focus on Communication and Design at the Faculty of Communication; and Lucía Santilli, a fourth-year student of the Bachelor's Degree in International Relations at the School of Government.

As part of the recognition, Lucía Santilli, Priscila Bettiga, and Gonzalo Vicente were selected to join the ILAN 2025 University Delegation that will travel to Israel in July of next year. There, they will participate in an immersive experience in one of the world's most important innovation ecosystems.

“The experience was enriching and transformative, showing me the power of teamwork, the value of joining the opportunities that the University presents, and the real impact we can generate by putting innovation at the service of society,” shared Priscila Bettiga, a student at the Faculty of Communication.

Authorities and teachers from the Universidad Austral who accompanied the teams in the process: Marcela Pizarro, dean of the Faculty of Communication; Federico Gottfried, director of the Bachelor's Degree in Marketing with orientation in Communication and Design; Liliana Fassi, coordinator of the same career; and the professors Carlos “Iñaki” Arredondo Maiztegui and Fausto García.
