Validagro is the first open innovation hub in Argentina, focused on driving technological development in agriculture within a real-world production environment with advanced connectivity . Its purpose is clear: to offer a space where startups, companies, research centers, and professionals can test, validate, and develop technologies and innovations , considering not only their technical aspects but also their business viability.

This collaborative project is driven by a diverse ecosystem of strategic actors committed to the productive transformation of the agribusiness sector. It includes Fersam Agroindustrial, John Deere, Agronorte, Telecom, and others. Universidad Austral, the University of the Littoral, Innventure, the Innovation Park of the City of Buenos Aires and Agrosapiens.

Validagro's differentiating value lies in its infrastructure, which allows testing technologies directly in the field – at the Estancia Las Cabezas, of Fersam Agroindustrial – with advanced connectivity and real operating conditions.

The hub's first major initiative will be the opening of its call for applications (from April 25 to May 23). This call is aimed at startups, companies, researchers, and professionals developing solutions with the potential to impact agriculture and who wish to validate their technologies under real-world conditions, with expert guidance and the opportunity to join a network of leading industry players.

Priority will be given to projects that propose solutions in key areas such as sustainability and soil conservation, increased productivity through technologies that optimize resources, and automation and digitization through artificial intelligence, IoT, robotics and data analysis.

The selected teams will be required to design and implement pilot projects under real production conditions, will receive technical support, qualified feedback, and will have visibility before strategic actors in the agro-industrial ecosystem.
