More than 1.800 students visited the Job Fair held on Thursday, August 10th at the Olivo Building on the Pilar Campus, with the participation of 55 companies and organizations.

The Job Fair of the Universidad Austral The event celebrated its 10th edition with record attendance. This year, 55 companies and organizations from all industries joined with the aim of connecting with students and graduates to showcase their internship programs, career paths, and current job openings.

From the morning of Thursday the 10th and throughout the day, the hall of the Olivo Building received more than 1.800 young people (100 of them from the Headquarters) RosarioStudents interacted with recruiters, asked questions, played games, and learned at the various booths. A mini-golf course, roulette wheels, interactive games, and "Bumerizate," a space where they could have their professional photo taken, write their first CV, or simulate job interviews, were some of the activities offered by the companies. In addition, there was a series of talks designed to equip students with tools for their future careers.

“ Furthermore, we are very pleased that graduates and alumni from various programs at the University participated in the Fair on behalf of the companies where they work. They were very approachable and spoke with students about their professional development, gave presentations, and even expressed their intention to mentor their future colleagues. This is another of the objectives we pursue, aligned with the University's Strategic Plan: to connect with graduates, maintain contact with them, and make them feel that returning to Austral is like coming home ,” he added.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Job Fair, now a university tradition, the Department of Graduate Studies and Professional Development presented symbolic awards to the most outstanding organizations. Bioceres Crop Solutions was recognized for having the most attractive booth; Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes' booth was chosen as the most interactive, while Rednodo Digital and Bimbo shared the award for the most disruptive booths.
