Guidelines for positive parenting and preventing child sexual abuse

A few days ago, UNICEF published new global figures: “More than 370 million girls and women alive today – that is, one in eight – have suffered rape or sexual abuse before the age of 18 (...) When these calculations also include forms of sexual violence without physical contact, such as verbal or online abuse, the number of girls and women affected worldwide rises to 650 million – one in five – a fact that underlines the urgent need to adopt comprehensive prevention and support strategies to effectively address all forms of violence and abuse.”
