La Universidad Austral He signed a collaboration agreement with the Center of Excellence on Innovation and Transformative Technologies for the Circular Economy (CEITTEC), based in the city of Córdoba, within the framework of the Diploma in Innovation for the Circular Economy (DIEC).
This academic initiative brings together various units of the University, including the Faculties of Engineering, Communication (through the Design program), the School of Government of the Faculty of Law, and the Faculties of Business Sciences at the Pilar and [unclear] campuses. Rosario.
The signing of the agreement was led by the Executive Director of CEITTEC, Jorge Folloni, Mg., current Secretary of Environment and Circular Economy of the Municipality of Córdoba, and the Rector of the Universidad AustralMr. Julián Rodríguez was also present. Mr. Alfredo Galiano, Deputy Director of Coordination and Sustainable Development for the Municipality of Córdoba, was also in attendance.
During his visit to the Pilar Campus, Folloni toured the IAE Business School, the Austral Business Park and the various university buildings.
Participants in the meeting included Luis Dambra, Dean of the Faculty of Business Sciences of Pilar; Raquel Ariza, Co-director of the Diploma in Innovation for the Circular Economy; Belén Aliciardi, Professor of the Diploma (Faculty of Law); María Verónica Torres Cerino, Sustainability Manager; Alejandro Chapero, Director of Postgraduate Studies and Technology Transfer (Faculty of Engineering); Ezequiel Lamónica, Professor and Co-director of the Diploma (Faculty of Engineering); and Inés Laferrère, Institutional Relations Manager.
As part of the agreement, the Center of Excellence on Innovation and Transformative Technologies for the Circular Economy (CEITTEC) joins as a collaborating organization, contributing its technical expertise and strategic vision in the field.
The diploma program aims to train the business and regional ecosystem in the design and implementation of business models based on the circular economy, integrating a broad perspective of sustainability, innovation and Industry 4.0 technologies.
