Within the framework of the University Extension programs of the Faculty of Business Sciences of Austral in Rosario, we carried out the technical workshop “The performance of the Certified Public Accountant as an Independent External Auditor (IEA)”, jointly articulated with the College of Graduates in Economic Sciences of Tucumán and the platform Conlaft.

The presentation was given by Professor Horacio Di Paolo , a professor at our university, specialist and Independent External Auditor, who shared practical tools and regulatory criteria on the exercise of this key function in the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) system.

During the meeting we addressed topics such as:

  • The framework of responsibilities and the scope of the REI's role.
  • Practical criteria for conducting independent external reviews.
  • The role of the Public Accountant in the face of current regulatory requirements.

We thank the Tucumán Graduates Association and all the professionals who participated in this professional development opportunity. We continue to promote continuing education initiatives that connect academia with professional practice throughout the country.
