The Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) bought USD 86 million in the market, but reserves remain below last year's closing levels.

The Central Bank gained USD 86,5 million through its foreign exchange intervention during the day, in a session with USD 385,7 million in spot market transactions. This brings the monetary authority's net purchase balance to USD 112,5 million for the first half of February.
