Within the framework of our Sustainability CampaignThe Operations and User Experience areas, together with the Sustainability Management, spearheaded the initiative “Every leaf counts”A proposal aimed at promoting a more responsible use of paper throughout the University. Inspired by the agenda Laudato Si ' and developed during September, month of CreationThe campaign seeks to raise awareness about the impact of our daily decisions and the importance of incorporating more sustainable habits.
Paper is part of many of our daily activities, but its production requires water, energy, and other natural resources. That's why, every time we avoid unnecessary printing, use double-sided paper, or choose digital alternatives, we contribute to reducing our environmental impact and taking better care of the resources we share.
Through awareness messages disseminated at our headquarters in Pilar, Buenos Aires and RosarioThe campaign encouraged reflection on simple practices that can generate significant change when they become habits. Among the recommendations shared were printing only when necessary, using double-sided printing, and digitizing documents whenever possible.
This initiative is part of the commitment of the Universidad Austral with sustainability and with the construction of an institutional culture that promotes the care of our common home. As proposed in the University ESG PlanSmall actions sustained over time can generate a positive and real impact, strengthening a community that is more aware and committed to the environment.
Because every decision counts, continuing to incorporate responsible habits into our daily work is a concrete way to contribute to caring for the environment and the future we want to build together.
