We had the honor of meeting with Prof. Dr. Jan Wouters, Professor of International Law at KU Leuven (Belgium) and founder and director of the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies (GGS), a pioneering interdisciplinary center for global governance created in 2007. Held on March 17, he was accompanied by Joaquín N. Caprarulo and Ana Obando, doctoral researchers at the Centre.
Representing the School were its Director, Alfonso Santiago; the Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Law, Ignacio de Casas; the Director of the Master's Program in International Relations, Sofía del Carril; the Deputy Director of the Center for Global Governance (CEGG), Ricardo Lagorio; the Coordinator of the Jean Monnet Module, Santiago Ardisson; and Victoria Clark, from the General Coordination of the International Relations Area.
The meeting was very enriching: perspectives were shared, common areas of work were identified and possible joint projects between the GGS and the Center for Global Governance Studies, the Jean Monnet Module and the different areas of the School of Government were explored.
