The Cerrito campus of the University received a visit from Prof. Dr. José Antonio Sanahuja Perales, Professor of International Relations at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and teacher at the Diplomatic School of Spain.
On March 17, the professor was in charge of the inaugural conference of the 2026 Seminar "European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean: Quo Vadis? Between the IV EU-CELAC Summit and the XXX Ibero-American Summit," an activity that kicked off the academic year of the Jean Monnet Module "EU in LAC: from Brussels to Buenos Aires" of the School.
This was followed by an enriching space for debate and academic reflection in which perspectives were exchanged on the international situation, the role of Europe and the future of its relationship with the United States.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, Mr. Joaquín María de Arístegui Laborde, authorities of the School, faculty and postgraduate students.
Thank you so much, José Antonio, for visiting us once again!
