During the years 2016-2018, the members of the "Person, Mind, and Brain" discussion group planned to meet seven times a year. The meetings featured a selection of presentations from alternating scientific, philosophical, and theological perspectives, with the aim of achieving an interdisciplinary understanding of the human person.
The importance of this activity lies in the fact that it allows scientists and philosophers to work together in a real way in the pursuit of knowledge. Scientists can thus follow the progress of experimental research, and philosophers can gain a deeper understanding of their findings. In this way, the seminar motivates both to continue their own research.
The 60-minute presentations are followed by another 60 minutes dedicated to the exchange of ideas. A summary of the presentations is available here.
