Virtual Program | History of Argentine Political Ideas

Start date:

Continuous
Duration: 17 classes
Modality: Asynchronous
Location: On demand - Recorded masterclasses

Presentation

Political thought is a meeting point for political science, philosophy, and history. From the moment one delves into its study, regardless of the perspective adopted, I couldn't help but notice that those who have reflected on politics within our intellectual tradition, even if they did so in the distant past, still have something significant to tell us today.

Indeed, considering the most important authors of local political thought, with their idiosyncratic peculiarities, is crucial to revealing the fundamental problems, concepts, and categories that make Argentine politics intelligible throughout time and space.

That is why the School of Politics, Government and International Relations presents this Program of Argentine Political Thought in which prestigious academics will meet to consider, together with the attendees, the main contributions made by some of the most outstanding Argentine intellectuals and politicians, and from there, reflect on our present and our future.
