The Institute of Philosophy of the Universidad Austral organized a competition for 3 scholarships to participate in the Interdisciplinary Research Week “Determinism and Indeterminism: From Neuroscience to Philosophy”, which will take place in Buenos Aires from August 10 to 13, 2015, under the auspices of John Templeton Foundation.

Doctoral students, recent PhDs, and academics in the fields of neuroscience, philosophy, or theology may apply for the scholarship if their research projects are related to the topic of determinism/indeterminism or if they express an explicit interest in interdisciplinary research in neuroscience and philosophy/theology.
The selection of candidates will be made according to: 1) the relevance of the applicant's research topics to the issues that will be addressed in the Interdisciplinary Research Week and 2) the applicant's academic background (publications, teaching, participation in academic meetings).
