The government today inaugurated "the last project financed by the State," as stated by the Secretary Coordinator of Energy and Mining, Daniel González, in Córdoba. This is the Northern Gas Pipeline reversal project, which changed the direction of gas flow and allowed Argentina to cease importing gas from Bolivia after more than 50 years, replacing it with production from Vaca Muerta. Furthermore, it will open the possibility of beginning to export Argentine gas to Brazil.
