The purpose of the bill - which is currently in Committee of the Honorable Chamber of Deputies - is to establish the penal regime applicable to adolescents, from 13 years of age until 0 hours of the day on which they turn 18 years of age, when they are charged with an act classified as a crime in the Penal Code or in the special penal laws in force or that may be issued in the future.
