The National Civil Law Conference is the most important scientific event in Argentine Private Law, bringing together the most prestigious jurists in this area of knowledge. They have been held since 1963, when the first edition took place at the National University of the Littoral. Since then, they have been convened every two years to address the main issues in Civil Law.
They constitute the meeting of “doctrine” that gives rise to new “doctrine.” The importance of their conclusions is evident both in judicial decisions and in the various legislative reforms they inspire. These characteristics make the Conference unique.
