On Tuesday, September 23, a workshop was held at the Cardenal Pironio School in Nordelta on Artificial Intelligence in Education, By Santiago BellomoDean of the School of Education of the Universidad Austral and the Master in Digital Teaching and Learning and professor at EEDU, Alejandra Vatrano.
During the day, Santiago shared data, knowledge, and reflections on the use of artificial intelligence in education, highlighting its social impact and the importance of each of us being able to redefine our role in the face of these new tools.
Then, through a practical activity presented by Alejandra, the participants designed their own assistant bot Using the POE application, we are exploring how artificial intelligence can assist with mechanical and administrative tasks, so that teachers and management teams can focus on those issues that require more human support and guidance.
It was a very interesting and enriching day, where we exchanged ideas about the use of artificial intelligence in multiple dimensions: in the classroom, in education in general, in classroom management, and also in institutional management. The experience opened a door to continue exploring and investigating the benefits that AI can bring to our educational practices.
We believe it was a A unique opportunity to learn together and share experiences.
We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming activities!
