We are pleased to share some exciting news: Professor Pedro León Vivas, from the School of Education, successfully defended his doctoral thesis on July 22nd at the Department of Didactics and Educational Organization in the Faculty of Education at the University of Barcelona. He received the academic title of Doctor of Education and Society.

Her final research report , "Leadership Practices to Promote and Sustain Changes in the Traditional School Model of Secondary Education: A Case Study , " aimed to analyze and understand which leadership practices have facilitated the promotion and sustainability of changes in the traditional school model in two secondary schools in Argentina. Through a qualitative approach, the study sought to identify how the leaders of these institutions have driven significant transformations in various aspects of the educational process. The aspects considered in the analysis were: curriculum modifications, student roles, teaching methods, learning assessment, relationship with the context, and school time and space.
