About the ICF
The object of our study
The family is the natural institution for developing as individuals, knowing that we are loved and supported, the place where we are born and where we always return, the ideal environment for happiness and where we can live just as we are. That's why it's worth all the struggle, effort, and work to care for it as the treasure we all possess.
Research
The research conducted by the ICF is motivated by our mission and seeks to foster reflection on the family and interpersonal relationships, and to encourage action in favor of them.
Why study at the ICF of the Universidad Austral?
Committed to our Vision
In 1994, the Universidad Austral The Institute of Family Sciences (ICF) was created with the mission of studying the family and promoting family values in society. Twenty years after its founding, and facing increasingly evident problems within families, the ICF remains committed to its mission, training professionals responsible for promoting the family as the fundamental basis of society.
Teachers
ICF faculty members have a high academic and professional standing in various disciplines.
Our Graduates
We have more than 400 graduates from nine Latin American and European countries currently working for families in various areas of society.
Long distance education
Through the ICF virtual campus, students can study from home and organize their time.
Personal Academic Advising
Through the virtual classroom, teachers and students communicate constantly to resolve questions and concerns. In addition, they have the teacher in charge of each cohort who provides personalized advice and support to students both personally and in their learning in the virtual environment.
International Students
