About the ICF

The object of our study

The family is the natural institution for developing as individuals, knowing that we are loved and supported, the place where we are born and where we always return, the ideal environment for happiness and where we can live just as we are. That's why it's worth all the struggle, effort, and work to care for it as the treasure we all possess.

Research

The research conducted by the ICF is motivated by our mission and seeks to foster reflection on the family and interpersonal relationships, and to encourage action in favor of them.

In 1994, the Universidad Austral The Institute of Family Sciences (ICF) was created with the mission of studying the family and promoting family values ​​in society. Twenty years after its founding, and facing increasingly evident problems within families, the ICF remains committed to its mission, training professionals responsible for promoting the family as the fundamental basis of society.
