Presentation

META (Measurement and Evaluation for Learning Transformation) It is a program of the School of Education of the Universidad Austral aimed at strengthening the quality and equity of education through the assessment of learning.

Through standardized assessments of Mathematics and Language Practices, carried out twice a year in 3rd and 6th grade of primary school and in 3rd and 6th year of secondary school, the program generates rigorous information on the learning achieved by the students.

GOAL It articulates evaluation, results analysis and institutional support, promoting a culture of continuous improvement based on evidence and contributing to the development of capacities for decision-making in schools and educational systems.

Innovation

New AI-powered system · LIAA-UBA

META is developing, together with the Applied Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of the UBA, a new evaluation management system, and a pioneering program in Argentina to evaluate reading comprehension through automatic analysis of open responses.

Report

Each institution receives a dynamic report with quantitative indicators to visualize performance by year, grade, division and student.

Comparison with other participating schools is facilitated. Then, specialists coordinate a personalized meeting to support the interpretation of the data and the planning of improvements.
