Rotations

Duty

• National Rotating Schedules: $200 USD monthly
• International Rotations: $400 USD monthly

These fees do not apply to Resident Physicians in Argentina

Documentation to present:

• Letter from the originating hospital requesting the rotation (unless it is a private hospital)
• Bachelor's degree
• Registration (only for those practicing in Argentina)
• Malpractice insurance/liability insurance (same as above)
• Prepaid health insurance (which must include Hospital Universitario Austral as a provider). If you are a foreigner or live more than 100 km from HUA, you can purchase travel assistance.
• A certificate of Workers' Compensation (ART) is required, which you must request from the institution where you are completing your rotation. If the rotation is private, you must present proof of life and personal accident insurance. In both cases, it must include a non-recourse clause against Hospital Universitario Austral. The documentation must be submitted 15 business days before the start of the rotation, otherwise the start will be postponed.

Duty

• Students from Argentine Universities: At the start of the rotation, they will have to pay the equivalent of 50% of the monthly value of the tuition fee for the Medical Degree, for each month of rotation.
• Students from Foreign Universities: At the start of the rotation, they will have to pay the equivalent of 100% of the monthly tuition fee for the Medicine program, for each month of rotation.

These fees do not apply to students from Universities with a retroactive agreement with the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, of the Universidad Austral.

Documentation to present:

• Letter from the home university requesting the rotation (unless it is a private university)
• Proof of being a regular student and eligible to perform rotations
• Prepaid health insurance (which must include Hospital Universitario Austral as a provider). If you are a foreigner or live more than 100 km from HUA, you can purchase travel assistance.
• Certificate of life and personal accident insurance.
• It must have a non-repetition clause to HOSPITAL UNIVERSITARIO AUSTRAL. ASOCIACION CIVIL DE ESTUDIOS SUPERIORES ACES CUIT: 30-59495091-3. Amount $8.000.000.-
