Graduates and Professional Development
INTRODUCTION
The Faculty's commitment to its students does not end with their graduation, but continues throughout their lives. With the awarding of a degree, the university-student relationship changes to a new one: university-graduate.
The Graduate Department of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences seeks to develop and safeguard this relationship, strengthening the affective bond, and becoming an explicit, conscious, positive and meaningful link for graduates.
Furthermore, today's society demands constant updating and learning, which is why the primary objectives of the Graduate Department are to facilitate access to continuous training for its members, enabling them to stay up-to-date in each area of knowledge; to be a communication channel to publicize the latest developments in this great community; and to be receptive to the ideas and contributions of those who have been part of this Faculty.
- Maintaining a lively and constant connection between the University and its graduates.
- To build a more connected community, with reciprocal relationships.
- Listen to and respond to the expectations of our graduates.
- Maximize the contribution of graduates, not only to the Faculty, but to all those it serves.
- To facilitate meeting spaces with graduates, fostering relationships with their professors and with the multiple areas of the Faculty.
- Promote continuing education and professional development activities, and the professional relationship between graduates.
- Keep them informed about the academic and social activities taking place at the Faculty.
