We congratulate Silvia Barredo, lecturer in the Energy Area of ​​Postgraduate Studies at the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad Austral, for having been awarded the 2026 Distinguished Achievement Award for Petroleum Engineering Faculty, granted by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) for the Latin America and Caribbean region.
This recognition highlights his career, dedication, and contributions to the development of petroleum engineering at a regional level, reflecting his commitment to academic and professional excellence, which he promotes in each of his activities.
It is an honor to have Silvia as part of the teaching staff of the Master's Program in Gas and Oil Management at the Universidad Australwhere their experience and dedication enrich the training of our professionals.
