We spoke with Mr. Gonzalo del Castillo, director of the new Regenerative Development Program, and he shared with us the importance and impact of a paradigm shift in sustainability.
A paradigm shift in sustainability implies moving away from traditional approaches of sustainability, which often focus on mitigating damage and conserving resources, a Regenerative approaches seek to restore and revitalize ecosystems and human communities. The goal behind this new approach is to create positive systems that generate value for both humans and natural ecosystems.
In this context, the Faculty of Engineering proposes a Diploma in Regenerative Development thatIt provides conceptual frameworks and practical tools that can be applied in various business areas and sectors.
Through this postgraduate program, one can acquire knowledge for andDesign and strategic planning, development of new products and services, implementation of public policies and management of socio-productive projects.
The training obtained will enable companies to lead the transition towards more sustainable and regenerative business models, contributing to the solution of current socio-environmental challenges.
