He has over 27 years of experience in information security and 20 years as a CISO and CSO in the public and private sectors in Argentina. Pedro is a renowned information security executive in Argentina and Latin America.

He was CISO of Banco Itaú for 7 years and served as CSO of Nación Servicios for over 4 years, overseeing the Cybersecurity, Physical Security, and Business Continuity teams. He is currently the CISO of Banco Galicia and Co-Director of the Center for Cybersecurity Studies at the Universidad Austral.

He is a Computer Systems Engineer with several postgraduate degrees in Information Security Management, Business, and Technology. He has extensive management experience. Pedro has been a speaker at various conferences in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Israel, Italy, and the USA.

He was awarded 3 times (2020, 2022 and 2024) as one of the 100 most important CISOs in the world by the English community Hottopics, based on the vote of notable professionals from around the globe.

In 2022, he was recognized by the “Global Security Summit” with the “Cybersecurity Leadership Awards 2022”.

In 2023, the Spanish Community CIONET recognized him as "CISO of the Year 2023" in Argentina.
