Inspired by the Kaizen philosophy, which promotes constant progress, these awards seek to highlight those who, with enthusiasm and dedication, raise the standard of teaching in our Faculty every day.
On Monday, May 27, the Department of Industries of the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad Austral made the delivery of the Kaizen Awards for Teaching Excellence 2024, an initiative that recognizes the academic quality and commitment of teachers to continuous improvement.
In this edition, awards were given in two categories:
It was awarded to the teacher who obtained the best result in the evaluations of the previous school year, reflecting rigorous preparation, outstanding teaching ability and a positive impact on student learning.
He recognized the teachers who demonstrated significant progress in their evaluations over time, showing a strong commitment to continuous improvement and educational excellence.
The following people were present during the handover ceremony Emilio López Gabeiras, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Ignacio del CarrilAcademic Secretary; Juan Cruz FernándezDirector of the Industrial Engineering program; and Alejandro Sureda, Director of the Department of Industries, who congratulated the award winners and highlighted the value of continuous improvement in teaching.
The distinguished teachers received a Certificate of Excellence and were invited to participate in mentoring activities, workshops and advanced courses, with the aim of sharing their best practices with the academic community.
