Austral Communication Magazine
Austral Comunicación is the faculty's scientific journal. Its aim is to collect and disseminate applied research and basic theory from the various traditions, trends, and lines of thought within communication sciences.
The journal, open to topics and methods from the vast field of Communication Studies, is published biannually. It seeks to establish itself within the academic sphere through contributions from around the world, while remaining grounded in the realities of Argentina and the Americas.
Its primary target audience is university teachers and researchers, who are offered the Austral Comunicación space to exchange studies and share experiences.
Austral Comunicación is presented in two formats: as a print journal, similar to a book, publishing open and peer-reviewed research articles; and as an electronic journal, offering open access to the articles from the print edition and also
Other materials include teaching experiences, progress reports on student research, and interviews. In addition, each issue features a monographic section offering research and theory on specific topics.
With its universal focus, the journal publishes articles in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Since the formation of its editorial board, the journal has strived for the same breadth and diversity: scholars and researchers in the field of communication from various universities around the world have been invited to contribute.
