The drop in oil prices is challenging the global oil industry and raising questions for Argentina and companies investing in oil and gas development. shale from Vaca Muerta, one of the largest in the world. The decline in the price of Brent crude, which fell 13,66% so far in 2025 and closed on Thursday, April 10, at US$63,51, poses a challenge for companies that have been investing in the extraction of unconventional resources in the country, even though analysts and executives maintain that there is resilience and that the business will continue to be profitable.
