Marita holds a PhD in Social Communication, a Bachelor's degree, and is a Professor of Literature. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the Faculty of Communication of the Universidad Austral, where he has edited the magazine Austral Comunicación since its creation in 2012.
Previously, she was Dean (2012-2014), Vice Dean (2015-2016) and Academic Secretary (2011) in the same Faculty.
He supervises graduate students in their final projects and theses, especially in journalism.
He has dedicated himself to the history of Argentine magazines and to topics of journalistic writing.
He received the Third Prize of the First Research Competition in Argentine Newspapers “Prof. Jorge B. Rivera”, organized by the National Library of the Argentine Republic in 2005, with the work “La Campana de Palo (Buenos Aires, 1925-1927) and the Buenos Aires journalism of the twenties: a record of tensions”.
She is the author of two books: La revista La Campana de Palo. Arte, literatura, música y anarquismo en el campo de las revistas culturales del periodo de vanguardia argentino (1920-1930), published by the Academia Argentina de Letras, and Los textos informativos. Guía de escritura y estilo, published by La Crujía.
She has participated as a co-author in several edited volumes. The most recent is *La Revista de Historia de América: Silvio Zavala y la red de estudios americanistas, 1938-1948*, co-authored with Alexandra Pita González. Buenos Aires: Teseo Press, Pan American Institute of Geography and History, Faculty of Communication of the Universidad Austral.
