Last Tuesday, June 24th, at the Argentine Embassy in Madrid, a meeting took place that strengthened the ties of the Austral Community: Julián Rodriguez, Rector of the University, met with graduates currently living in Madrid to share the University's strategic plan and exchange ideas about the institution's present and future. "We had a very pleasant conversation in which they expressed particular interest in entrepreneurship programs, innovation in curriculum design, the incorporation of AI into teaching and management, and research lines related to strategic issues for Argentina such as energy and mining, among other topics ," he stated.
Twenty-five graduates from various programs and graduating classes participated, expressing their gratitude for the invitation and their enthusiasm for actively contributing to the institution's development. The Rector encouraged them to reaffirm their commitment in any way they wished and within their means, whether by staying informed about the University's activities, networking with key individuals and institutions, assisting in fundraising for our projects, or actively participating in innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives, either as mentors or with projects for the incubator.
These spaces for dialogue and exchange not only rekindle the sense of belonging that unites them with Austral University, but also allow us to stay connected and aware of the challenges and projects our graduates are facing, as well as to hear their perspectives and experiences in other cultural and professional contexts. In this way, we reaffirm the value of maintaining a vibrant, diverse, and engaged network.
We thank each of the graduates, the rector and Mr. Ambassador, Wenceslao Bunge, for their willingness and initiative and reaffirm the importance of continuing to build the Austral Community throughout the world.
