Ricardo F. Crespo was born in Buenos Aires in 1956. He is a graduate in economics and philosophy and has earned a Ph. D. in Philosophy (Universidad Nacional de Cuyo) and another in Economics (Universiteit van Amsterdam). Consequently, he has long focused his attention on the philosophy of economics, including ontological, epistemological anthropological, ethical and political dimensions. He has intensively published on these topics, including several articles in refereed journals, book chapters and eight books. He has served as Secretary and Traesurer of the International Network for Economic Method –econmethodology.org.
