The clear victory in the elections of widespread discontent with current policies demands a truce from opinion leaders (politicians, journalists, social leaders, but also businesspeople and all of us who participate in some way in the public debate, which is all of us). We've reached the end of the year quite fed up with so much aggressive campaign rhetoric, so much partisan journalism, so many shifting polls, and so many negative emotions expressed on social media. Anxious, confused, and at odds with each other: these are not good conditions for facing the challenges ahead.
