The development of Vaca Muerta continues apace and is consolidating its position as the driving force behind crude oil production in Argentina. In 2019, the Neuquén Basin extracted 45% of the country's crude; today it accounts for 71% of the total barrels produced in Argentina. Looking ahead to 2026, production is projected to reach 750 barrels per day and one million by 2028.
