La School of Education of the Universidad Austral It launches the Specialization in Educational Innovation Management (EGIE), a proposal aimed at training professionals capable of leading educational transformation processes in a context of accelerated changes, new institutional challenges and profound cultural and technological transformations.
Education is undergoing a profound re-evaluation. The expansion of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and contemporary cultural shifts are transforming how we teach, learn, manage, and build educational experiences.
In this scenario, the challenge is no longer just about incorporating technological tools. What is at stake today is the capacity of institutions to rethink their practices, support their teams, make pedagogical decisions, and sustain meaningful innovation processes.
The questions that are increasingly being raised by teachers, administrators, and institutional leaders are no longer solely technological. They are also pedagogical, ethical, and organizational. How can we support students in a world permeated by artificial intelligence? What does it mean to teach today? How can we transform institutions without losing sight of their human and educational dimension?
From these challenges arises the Specialization in Educational Innovation Management (EGIE), a career designed to support professionals who seek to strengthen and update their practices in the face of contemporary transformations in education.
With a faculty comprised of specialists with extensive experience in management, innovation, technology, educational training and research, under the direction of Mg. Oscar Ghillione and the academic coordination of Mg. Romina Campopiano; the proposal offers a current, situated and interdisciplinary view on the challenges that educational institutions and organizations face today.
The EGIE program integrates leadership, management, pedagogy, innovation, and technology from an institutional, ethical, and profoundly human perspective. It aims to ensure that participants not only acquire conceptual frameworks and working tools, but also review their own practices, design context-specific projects, and develop concrete strategies for their professional environments.
Designed for those who lead change processes in complex and dynamic scenarios, the specialization is proposed as a space for reflection, updating and exchange connected with the real problems of professional practice.
One of the central aspects of the course will be the development of a Final Integrative Project focused on the design and implementation of a proposal applied to each participant's own professional context.
The program is aimed at teachers, managers, coordinators, innovation managers, EdTech professionals, consultants and leaders of educational, social and business organizations interested in promoting transformation processes with institutional impact.
The specialization will begin on August 4, 2026, and will last one year. It will be offered entirely online, with live, synchronous classes and a total workload of 360 hours. The program was designed to facilitate the participation of professionals from different regions of the country and from other countries, fostering a diverse and enriching learning and exchange environment.
Because in scenarios of constant change, continuing education is no longer just an opportunity, but a necessity for those who seek to accompany and transform educational institutions with a critical eye, capacity for innovation and pedagogical sense.
