The Superior Council of the Universidad Austral designated as Teachers Emeritus to Dr. Domingo Tarzia and Dr. Carlos Steiger of the Headquarters Rosario, in recognition of their outstanding careers, their teaching vocation and the profound impact they left on the academic and human life of our community. 

El Dr. Tarzia, an international reference in the field of research and the first tenured professor of the Universidad Austral, was a key figure in the growth and consolidation of the Mathematics Department at the Headquarters Rosario, in addition to having created and directed The PhD in Applied and Computational Mathematics. 

In turn, the Dr. Steiger, former Director of the Master's Program in Agribusiness, Through his leadership and academic commitment, he propelled the program to become the No. 1 Master's program in Latin America and No. 2 in the world. in the area of ​​Agribusiness / Food Industry Management since 2019. 

To celebrate this well-deserved appointment, a ceremony was held at the Headquarters last Tuesday, May 19. Rosario A tribute to these two academics where teachers, graduates and international figures from various universities shared words of gratitude to the recent emeritus professors.
