Just a few days ago, the Frigate Libertad set sail on its fifty-third round-the-world training voyage, carrying those who will begin their officer careers as young midshipmen upon their return. A few weeks earlier, along with other guests, we had the privilege of sailing on that same ship with its entire crew from the Puerto Belgrano Naval Base—where the frigate had been refitted for its new voyage—to the port of Buenos Aires. From many perspectives, this magnificent experience has provided us with ample food for thought.
