The dollar is looking for a floor.

In a new rollercoaster ride that the Argentine economy has accustomed market participants to, in less than two weeks the fear of a dollar stampede transformed into uncertainty about a floor that is too low. Neither mood is capricious: just as the reserves of central bank In just over a month, they experienced a drain of US$2.000 billion. The lifeline provided by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to support the easing of exchange controls reversed the trend in net reserves (which were estimated at US$-5.500 billion before April 11) and deflated expectations of an exchange rate correction.
