He is a professor and researcher at the Agribusiness Center of the Universidad AustralExecutive Director of the Master's Program in Agribusiness at CEAg, Universidad Austral.
He is a consultant for the European Union Commission, focusing on the development of agricultural value chains for countries in the southwest African region.
He is an external consultant as a business strategy expert for the firms Prospectiva 2020 and ABECEB.
He is a United States Department of State fellow on agricultural issues.
He is a fellow of the Agro Experts Program of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Australian Government.

He was a member of the board of directors of the Investment and Foreign Trade Agency of the Province of Santa Fe, "Santa Fe Global."
Throughout his professional career, he has gained knowledge, experience, and a focus on management consulting and strategic direction in the areas of agribusiness and agrifood.
He has served as a consultant to the Ministry of Agriculture and the Chambers of Deputies and Senators on agricultural matters.
He held senior management and executive positions in agricultural and agri-food companies.

He regularly publishes his opinions on agribusiness and food in local and international newspapers and magazines.
