The current debate on labor reform in Argentina places us at a crossroads that goes beyond the technical: it is a question of the very nature of our social coexistence. As we witness a debate lost in concessions to corporations, it is imperative to reclaim the distinction that Frédéric Bastiat drew between justice and solidarity (the latter term being called “fraternity” by the French writer).
