From September 15th to 19th, the event took place in the Universidad Austral A Research Week dedicated to exploring the concept of personhood and the philosophical foundations of interpersonal relationships. The event combined training sessions and specialized discussions, bringing together researchers from various institutions in the region.

The program included the seminar “The person and the people”The course, led by Massimo Serretti, professor at the Università degli Studi Carlo Bo (Urbino, Italy), brought together 25 participants and offered a conceptual exploration of different contemporary perspectives on the notion of person, with special attention to its relational dimension.

The workshop then took place “The Philosophical Foundations of Interpersonal Relationships”The workshop, aimed specifically at researchers, was designed to allow each participant to present research findings, progress on doctoral theses, and ideas for new lines of inquiry. All presentations were prepared in an academic format and distributed to the attendees beforehand, facilitating a deeper and more thoughtfully argued exchange. Each presentation included a designated commentator, responsible for offering initial observations, suggestions, and questions to enrich the discussion. This approach fostered a critical and constructive dialogue, which was particularly valued by the participants. The workshop ultimately brought together 13 participants from Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru, consolidating a space for regional collaboration around the philosophy of the person and interpersonal relationships.

Research Week strengthened collaboration between teams and created an environment conducive to high-level academic exchange.
