Day:

30.06.2023

Time: 16: 00 hs.

Modality: online

El 30 June The next step will be the start of 5th Cohort of the International Diploma in Parliamentary DiplomacyFor this reason, CIDEIPP, in association with Institute for Political Training and Public Management of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and with the support of the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation have decided to allocate the three (3) hours of the first class of the International Diploma in Parliamentary Diplomacy to the celebrations for the International Day of Parliamentarism.

The program consists of listening to the reflections of the world's leading academics and leaders who are part of the international parliamentary arena, both in their domestic and global roles.

These leaders have been invited to reflect for five or ten minutes on key ideas about the state of our “global village” and that of our countries and communities at the domestic level; the main challenges facing the planet; the role of parliaments and parliamentarians in building a better world and, if possible, all of this within the framework of concrete references to their own experiences.

The idea is to replicate the methodology used for the speeches given by the heads of state and government of the member countries of the United Nations each year, in the context of the celebration of the General Assembly (UNGA).
