El new program on International Financial Institutions It was developed by the CIG for the Master's Degree in Public Policy of the School of Government of the Universidad AustralDictated by Fernando Straface, Director of the CIG, and Agustín AguerreLed by CIG Senior Fellow, the course aims to deepen understanding of the role, policies, priorities, and impact of the main International Financial Institutions operating in Latin America: the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Through a practical, case-study-based approach, the program offers a comprehensive view of the IFI ecosystem, the policy agendas they promote, national strategies, and the investment and policy project cycle.
